The Chesshyre Goblet July 2010

The annual match was played in the same competitive spirit as has been apparent since the event was inaugerated four years ago.
The contestants from both schools, listen attentively to our club Chairman Mr John Booth as he applauds them for the manner in which the match was played
Etiquette is very important in our sport. Here the opposing club captains shake hands prior to the commencement of the match.

Chairman of our club, Mr John Booth presents the Chesshyre Goblet to the Captain of Bishop Gore, whose team after an extremely close match were declared winners
Again, the spirit in which the match was played can be seen in the manner in which the Pen y Bryn school captain hands over the Chesshyre Goblet to the winning Bishop Gore captain.
Is it Bishop Gore's shot, or have Pen y Bryn made it. This extremely close end required some detailed inspection from the players.

Both schools enjoyed food especially prepared by our club chef Jackie.
